Keno Calculator
Hit probabilities per spot
Keno odds are hypergeometric: you pick a set of numbers, the game draws another set, and the overlap decides your payout. The maths is exact, with no simulation needed.
Set the pool, the number of balls drawn and how many spots you play to get the full probability table, including the chance of hitting at least a given number.
Crypto keno usually uses 40; classic keno 80.

Probabilities are exact hypergeometric values. Multiply each row by your casino's paytable to derive the game's true RTP.
How to read the results
- Each row shows the probability of exactly that many hits.
- At least is the cumulative probability of hitting that many or more — the number that matters for paytables.
- Picking more spots lowers the chance of a perfect hit but raises the chance of a partial payout.
- Compare the probabilities against your casino's paytable to derive its real RTP.
Frequently asked questions
What are the odds of hitting 10 out of 10 in keno?
On a classic 80-ball game with 20 drawn, hitting all 10 spots is about 1 in 8.9 million. Crypto keno usually uses a 40-ball pool with 10 drawn, which shortens the odds considerably.
How many spots should I play?
Fewer spots hit more consistently for small multipliers; more spots create lottery-style payouts. The house edge is set by the paytable, not by the number of spots.
How is keno probability calculated?
It is the hypergeometric distribution: C(picks, hits) times C(pool - picks, drawn - hits), divided by C(pool, drawn).
